Eye Opening Training

The training delivered by Cathy was fantastic. I have truly had by eyes opened to such a massive and under valued issue and our community centre is looking forward to starting our group and starting to very slowly change opinions and help the woman in our community.

Fantastic Training

I was originally trained by Cathy as a Freedom Programme Facilitator in 2006; completed a variety of domestic violence related courses; and Escape the Trap in 2013. Cathy is an innovative, dynamic and approachable trainer who inspires confidence with her full knowledge of domestic and sexual violence and related issues.More recently I shadowed Cathy delivering the Freedom Programme Facilitators Training in Sudbury and London observing the beneficial changes to the delivery of the programme. Cathy is a true professional who is passionate in the training she delivers. Thinking of updating your Freedom Programme Facilitators Training or embarking on Escape the Trap to help our youth of today recognise what a healthy relationship should feel like? You will learn much more than a training manual can teach you so do not miss out!

Fantastic Training!

Fantastic training! Completed the Domestic Violence Awareness Workshop. Opened my eyes to understand the issues in more depth. Cathy is an inspirational trainer and I have learned a lot I didn’t know about domestic abuse

Fabulous Training and Colleague

Having been trained by Cathy as a Facilitator in the Freedom Programme and Escape the Trap now I can honestly say she is amazing as a trainer, full of energy and enthusiasm, she keeps the day moving along with no flat spots and you come out with a full knowledge of the subject matter. Cathy and I are also the UK trainers for the Who’s in Charge? child to parent violence programme and Cathy is a true professional. We have had immense fun facilitating the programmes that we run and we have met some amazing parents. Flag up your interest now, this is one not to be missed!

Escape the Trap - Fantastic Training

Really informative course. Although a very serious subject the course was made to be fun and very interactive. It is really thought provoking and helps to better understand the needs and issues of young people. Fantastic three day course. Thank you.

Teenage Relationship Abuse Programme

Fantastic training delivered by Cathy over 3 days. I have now run the programme with a group of young women and had a fantastic response. I have previously worked alongside targeted programmes for young people, but Escape the Trap is by far the best and the easiest to deliver.

FREEDOM PROGRAMME NOVEMBER 2014 (SUDBURY)

I HAVE NEVER ENJOYED TRAINING AS MUCH AS I DID WHEN I ATTENDED THE FREEDOM PROGRAMME. WAS AN EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER, BUT THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT.

Freedom Programme Training Nov 2014

Challenging, informative, fun! No stone left unturned. Thank you Cathy and all attendees who made it possible!

Freedom Programme

I attended the Freedom Programme facilitator training in London in May 2013. Cathy was the trainer, her approach to the topic, her enthusiasm and genuine empathy and warmness made this one of the best training events I have ever attended over a long and varied professional career. I intend to undertake further training events delivered by Cathy. She is absolutely brilliant.

The Freedom Programme Training

Cathy took us through an intense 3 days of learning on a very sensitive subject. As the sessions were very interactive and facilitated in a very relaxed style I did not feel overwhelmed. I feel very confident to take this learning forward and facilitate the Freedom Programme.

WIC? Programme Training for Facilitators June 2014

A great course, a great programme and great facilitators. Carole and Cathy were very easy to get along with, approachable, informative and listened as well as generating interesting discussions and ideas which made the training exiting, not forgetting a good mix of humour and fun. I left feeling very inpatient to get the programme up and running and using my new found knowledge in my one to one work as a Family Support Worker. Many thanksMarie

Who's in Charge?

This course will give parents confidence to believe in themselves, and to try out new strategies for dealing with behaviours from their children.

Who's in Charge? 2016

I love the way this training offers a new view of parenting, without blame. It follows this up with simple, attentive methods of parenting by assisting a shift of attitude, so that a small change may be as effective in changing a child’s behaviour.
