Escape The Trap
Escape the Trap is an 8 week programme for use in schools and youth settings for young people identified as vulnerable to teenage relationship abuse. It is based on the art work, exercises and words used by the young women in the group to describe the impact of the teen relationship abuse they had experienced.

Senior Accredited Counsellor & Supervisor adhering to the BACP Code of Ethics, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as being registered with the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors, UKRC, a Register of Independent Counsellors.
Counselling and Psychotherapy is offered to both individuals, couples and families. Cathy has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents and children from her private practice in Sudbury, Suffolk. Sudbury is conveniently located to those living in and around Bury St. Edmunds, Colchester, Halstead, Braintree and Ipswich.
Counselling Supervision is offered both individually and in small groups. Cathy works with supervisees both student and qualified, from a range of training organisations and specific domestic abuse and counselling agencies across Essex, Cambridgeshire, London and Suffolk.
Cathy has developed and delivered training for 14 years with a specific focus on domestic and sexual violence and abuse across the UK and as far a field as Romania. Cathy has experience of running both multi-agency and in-house workshops and trainings. In 2013 Cathy developed Escape the Trap, an eight week programme for young people identified as vulnerable to teenage relationship abuse, now running across parts of the UK. Cathy also trains facilitators in the Freedom Programme, the Who’s in Charge? programme and the Stronger Families Programme.
